Margit Keller

Margit Keller is the Dean of the faculty of Social Sciences and an Associate Professor of Social Communication in the Institute of Social Studies, University of Tartu. 

Her research has focused on sustainability transitions and social practice(s theory), change of everyday life. She is also involved in applied research on the Just Transition of the Ida-Virumaa region in Estonia with a special interest in monitoring socio-technical change as well as in intervention points.

Margit will (if life permits) contribute to the work of the research team at a later stage to help build scenarios and see if and how the theory of industrial modernization descends onto the rough surface of mundane, conflict-ridden, yet deeply exciting transformation processes occurring in Estonia.
