Silver Sillak

Head of the Estonian Renewable Energy Chamber & Researcher at the University of Tartu

Silver Sillak is an Analyst of Sustainable Interventions for the research group. He is also the head of the Estonian Renewable Energy Chamber and has previously worked as an advisor in the Climate Department of the Ministry of Climate of Estonia, where he contributed to the development of climate change mitigation policies and to the creation of the first Estonian Climate Law.

Before that, he worked as a Junior Researcher at Aalborg University in Denmark, where he researched co-creation as a governance strategy of the renewable energy transition in Denmark and Estonia advising local governments on the preparation and implementation of their renewable energy strategies.

He has also worked at the University of Tartu in Estonia, where he researched socio-technical transitions in various industries and the development of industrial modernity.

In the research team he will be building future scenarios of the transformation of industrial modernity in Estonia.
